Went today because I had just had a procedure where I had to fast for 24 hrs. Ordered potatoes soup, it was ok but my chicken pot pie was burned, inside under crust that was burned. It was impty, the veg and cream sauce was so burnt they were almost down to nothen, my husband doesn't like Bob Evans but took me because I was starving, he order two eggs easy over, two sausage patties, and toast with grape jelly, links instead of patties, hard hard biskets, strawberry jelly, and eggs well ok. Our young man didn't care, was shocked I ask for him to give me another pot pie, didn't give me a straw, after asking for one he left came back with a coffee pot filled about four table's, I motion to him, I said I need a straw, oh I thought I bought it to you,. The service was terrible, but the cook that sent out that burnt pop pie should be fired. I wish I had took a photo so I could of posted all over Facebook.
We keep giving them chances because we love the turkey and dressing and its usually much quieter than Cracker Barrell, but the service is ALWAYS lacking in some respect. Ever wait 15 minutes to be seated when the restaurant was practically empty? One time they were so short handed our server had about 10 tables and was running her a%$ off. I said something about needing more help to the manager checking us out and she had the nerve to say she wasn't working fast enough. This last time we got to enjoy two servers arguing repeatedly until the cooks got in on it (since the servers area is so stupidly designed right out in front of the customers) Hey Bob Evans, they have these things called doors- maybe you could put them between us and the servers so we dont have to listen to all of their boyfriend problems?
It's ok. Once the breakfast was awesome and it was clean... it needs a good cleaning in the dining area

Food may be good but service is piss poor-to be honest, at best. They have upped the amount and give me the wrong receipt many times. Even up on fixing it, they charge me more than they usually have. They say they cannot do half orders anymore, which I know is incorrect. If for 3 years I come in and order a half order and then it's suddenly not do able? They've lost my business over this, on top of poor waitressing. With this being the last time I walk out the doors, it's sad to say that within 10 minutes the lady was still unable to get me a simple foam cup to leave with. I recieced no souvenirs, except for terrible service. Wondrous times.
