Very polite reasonable vet. Don’t believe all the hate reviews. Hate is no foundation for an authentic review.

As well I don't agree with their message nor yours.

This is for the people that feel you shouldn't post you're political views on a business sign, then don't put political posts in your yard because it's the same thing. That said, you disagree with what their message is OK that's fine but make no damn mistake that they do have that right just as you have the right to disagree.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Knowledgeable and informative. Great with the animals. Highly recommend.

Too many bad vibes. I lost all trust after second visit. The vet does what he wants not what you want done to your pet . Constantly selling you something not necessary. Very pushy vet and employees. The woman told me both cats will have rabies and leukemia vaccinations. I said no I don’t think it’s necessary the cats are inside and it’s proven the leukemia shot gives tumors. She told me boldly it’s the law !!! I felt wow she is trying to intimidate me. I knew the only law was for dogs only. The vet overheard from the other room and knew I had done a lot of research on my F2 Savannah cat. So he tried to smooth it over by saying not a law for cats but you must give them it every year. Always a lot of hypothetical examples. I can guarantee my Savannah isn’t getting out. Next problem I was available at any time for the first appointment, they actually made my appointment with a large pit bull and other large dogs. No way I was bringing a 12 week old kitty in there with that huge pit bull sitting in the waiting room. I was traumatized much less what my kitten would of went threw. It had a vinyl leach on the size of my cats. I left and decided the next day to reschedule. Way too much to replay on there bull excuses. Next problem is the examination table was dirty both times. I asked the rabies police woman if it had been cleaned she said yes as I blow kitty liter off. Very upsetting!!! And the ointment for 30$ is 12$ on the Internet. And the science treats pushed on me that I said my cat wouldn’t eat is as I said. And I threw out 3 bowls of food. The kitty bloom supplement I give them has all those vitamins and minerals in it which he didn’t even ask about there diet. I have never had an animal that would eat anything from a veterinarian. Or anything with science on the package. I was charged 190$ and can’t figure out what for. The breeder and her veterinarian require a three way vaccination then in three weeks a booster. This vet argued a third booster then the leukemia vaccination then the rabies, The veterinarian wasn’t going to neuter my cats till I did all these shots. I figured with everything completed it would run 1000$ I have my cats on vitamin supplements, taste of the wild kibble, with fresh chicken and ground turkey. Very healthy with a strong immune system!!! I worry about the veterinarian or his staff giving my cats an infection or bad reaction from all the unnecessary vaccinations even cancer. I will take my cats to another vet and skip all the unnecessary vaccinations that will only harm my cats. Both cats will be nurtured and that will be the end of it. You think about it ! Do you give your children that many vaccinations???

I also believe if you're going to do things like this you should own it.

We have taken our pets here for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else in Southern Illinois. Dr. Parker is an exceptional vet and a very kind, good person. He and his staff have always went above and beyond to care for our pets, follow up and make sure all of our questions were answered. Very professional and caring. A++
