The staff is friendly and helpful; I've never had a problem with my pizza, even with a tomato allergy!
Always love a good pizza, but the service was horrible. On 8/10/17, I called to place my order and was on hold for the fifteen minute drive from my house to the restaurant. When I walked in, there were two employees (who didn't look up or greet me) and were clearly not busy. I ordered my food and sat to wait. While I was waiting, I called the restaurant again to see if anyone rushed to answer the phone. The phone didn't ring at all. It wasn't even on the receiver, which opens the phone line up for the next call. I am disappointed that these employees didn't care about the business or customers and I will not be ordering again anytime soon.
Was in town at a local hotel for work purposes. Was too tired to "dine out" so I attempted to order a pizza for delivery on Thursday, August 10, 2017. I reached an automated greeting and it was repeated numerous times throughout my five minute hold. After five minutes and when it became apparent they were too busy to take my order and never spoke to an associate, I called the local Domino's where the phone was answered by a REAL person and my order was promptly taken. Thinking maybe they should hire additional help for weekday evenings. Thank you, Domino's. I will continue to order from you when I return to the area for work.
So my family and I used to order regularly from Papa John's here in Marion. I have ordered pizza from this place twice in the past six weeks and both times I've had problems!
The first issue was when I went to pick my pizza's up the kid at the counter had no record of me even ordering a pizza. I told him I had literally called them approximately 25mins ago and ordered two pizzas even showed him the call log on my phone... come to find out ol boy that took my order was hanging out in the office and never bothered to tell anyone they had a order to fill...So I wait another 30 minutes and they call my name to pay for my food the boy is very unapologetic about the whole situation and was to busy laughing and cutting up with the other kids attempting to do work. By this time about an hour has passed and I'm getting a little peeved so I tell the kid that I'm very dissatisfied with the service and he was like dude uhhh I guess I can give you two dollars off! I'm like really two whole dollars off two pizzas that I've been waiting on for over an hour!!!! So I order from here again tonight and it's the same joker's working or attempting to act like they are working. Takes around 40 minutes from time I order to the time I pay for my food that I have to wait on once again!!! And I get home and it's the wrong order! Sorry Papa John's probably won't be ordering from you anytime in the near future!
Pretty standard Papa John's. The crew is pretty cool. Never had issues.
